My husband and I were celebrating our 18th wedding anniversary. The staff member who was looking after us was lovely. She was very pleasant and made sure that we were satisfied with every stage of our meal. The price was very reasonable too. It&#39;s cheaper to visit during the week and not so busy. My only concern was the distance to the disabled toilet. But on the whole, a very enjoyable experience

Not lived in the area long so obviously thought we’d try one of the local pubs.  I think reading by past reviews this place once was great but my god it’s gone downhill fast. The food was inedible and the place looks like nobody’s looked after it for a few years. Staff were nice but they we’re having to deal with too many all day drinkers swearing and generally being obnoxious. I couldn’t recommend a quick drink here never mind a meal.

Avoid at all costs

Sunday dinner there today, one of the best we’ve ever had. Beats Toby hands down! Friendly staff and made us feel welcome 👍🏻

Excellent food. Had Sunday lunch and I&apos;ve got to say it&apos;s one of the best we&apos;ve had. All homemade and cooked to perfection. This meal was so tasty. Will definitely be going again.

Sunday Lunch

Myself and my family visited the Elwes Arms for Christmas dinner which we had been long looking forward to. We left very disappointed, for the money it cost per head we all felt very let down. Some of the dinner cane out cold and the Landlady seemed more stressed than accommodating. I would of paid 30.00 tops for this meal unfortunately it did not warrant £45. The atmosphere lacked also. Average at best
